BRETT TALLEY
As a pastor’s kid, Brett grew up in the church world and felt a call to ministry at a young age. He jumped into full-time ministry in 2005 and became an ordained reverend by the Church of God (Anderson). He then served as a Student Pastor and a NextGen pastor for the next 11+ years before jumping into a new adventure with Orange and Orange Students.
Brett spent 6 and a half years as a Orange Student Specialist, coaching and consulting with Student Pastors and churches all over the globe. At the start of 2023, he began a new role with Orange as the VP of Staff Culture & Development to support staff, develop systems that helped Orange live out their values as an organization and facilitate employee development, engagement and experience.
Brett still really loves speaking to students and helping train and develop leaders. He and his wife Courtney have been married since 2004 and have three amazing and hilarious kids who constantly keep them busy and laughing.
In his spare time, Brett enjoys music, playing golf and making amazing turkey melt sandwiches (if he has the time and ingredients, otherwise they’re just average). He and his family are very involved at their church, and he actively serves in their Middle School ministry.
Brett’s ministry passions in ministry are helping teenagers develop their own authentic faith in the midst of safe community, helping small group leaders facilitate those kinds of communities, and helping ministry leaders build those kinds of ministries.
